Compensation: $99,900.00 to $121,100.00 

Purpose:The Senior Manager of Master Data is responsible for managing all operations of the Master Data team for Food & Beverage and Retail lines of business ensuring timely database administration, maintenance, and enhancements across North America. This role leads the team in supporting business needs through system changes, troubleshooting data issues, and delivering systematic solutions that enable critical business strategies.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversees day-to-day master data operations for North America maintaining data integrity, timely administration, and compliance with company standards and procedures
  • Plans and executes enterprise-wide database builds, upgrades, and system enhancements while coordinating changes across multiple platforms and business units
  • Troubleshoots complex master data integration problems, performs root cause analysis, and implements sustainable solutions to prevent recurring issues
  • Implements and assists with development of master data standards, process, and procedures to support business scalability and operational efficiency
  • Manages relationships with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and vendors to deliver master data solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Responds to critical business issues by prioritizing and escalating appropriately while maintaining service level agreements
  • Trains end users on master data requirements, system functionality, and best practices to support proper data governance
  • Leads master data governance initiatives and provides recommendations to support critical business strategies and digital transformation
  • Collaborates cross functionally with IT, Finance, Operations, and other business partners to drive seamless data integration and alignment

Reporting Relationship: The Senior Manager of Master Data reports to the Senior Director of Master Data

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

  • Education and Experience: The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 6 years:
    • In a leadership role: Requires 2 years of experience leading teams engaged in developing and delivering master data programs
    • In a technical role: Requires 6-8 years of experience engaged in POS database building and complex data maintenance across full system life cycles
      • A bachelor’s degree in a program related to the functional area can count for 2 of the 6-year requirement
    • In the industry: 3-5 years of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience
  • Specialized Training: Training that leads to expertise in SAP and Oracle
  • Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits:
    • Demonstrated experience with Power BI, Smartsheet, and Service Now
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
    • Superior problem resolution and analytical skills
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a commitment to data accuracy and governance
    • Business acumen and also has the mindset required to understand the long-term implications of database management and to advance the organization’s goals
    • Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of the business, stakeholders, the employee population and individual circumstances
    • Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments 
  • Location: This role is based at the North America Support Center in Bethesda, MD
