Summary

The Food Court Attendant is responsible for cleaning assigned dining areas, providing the highest quality of customer service at all times, and performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is an hourly position and typically reports to the Assistant Manager, Store Manager, or General Manager, depending upon local requirements.

Essential Functions

• Monitors the establishment (front-of- the-house) for cleanliness and newly vacant tables
• Clears, cleans and sanitizes tables and seats according to company standards
• Transports trays to the dish room for cleaning, cleans trays and replenishes stock in the front-of- the- house
• Stocks napkins, straws, silverware and condiments
• Cleans, sweeps, and mops floors
• Maintains neat and clean work station during service

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment

• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
• Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
• Requires the ability to lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs.
• Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
